About Aaron Hughes (He/Him)
Aaron Hughes helps patients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and relationship concerns with a warm, practical, and clinically grounded approach. He practices with LifeStance Health in Ohio, serving adults across the state who are seeking support for emotional wellness, life transitions, and day-to-day functioning. He offers individual therapy, group therapy, and couples therapy, tailoring care to each person’s needs and goals.
He is especially passionate about helping with disability paperwork, alongside work related to alcohol and drug use issues, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and pain management. Aaron also supports people facing men’s issues, later life transitions, and midlife transitions, with a focus on care that is collaborative, respectful, and responsive to each client’s lived experience.
Aaron’s style draws on cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help patients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful progress. He works with adults, including those in the 18–21, 22–26, 27–40, 41–64, and 65+ age ranges, and has experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients, women, men, military veterans, first responders, people with autism spectrum disorders, adoption and foster care backgrounds, developmental disabilities, and head injuries. Outside of work, he enjoys taking walks, watching television, traveling, exploring new places, and taking a good nap.
