Tyler Mordarski, CT,
About Tyler Mordarski (He/Him)
Tyler Mordarski helps individuals in Ohio navigate life’s challenges by offering a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore personal growth and healing. He works with children and adults through individual and group therapy, using evidence-based approaches to guide clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and related concerns. Tyler sees therapy as a collaborative journey and aims to help clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and gain a better understanding of themselves.
Tyler specializes in working with clients experiencing symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Drawing on therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, he empowers clients to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and foster long-term well-being. He is particularly passionate about helping clients uncover what drives their behaviors and find realistic ways to create change that aligns with their goals and values.
In addition to his clinical work with men, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals, Tyler brings special focus to concerns such as PTSD and trauma, school avoidance in children, and men’s mental health. His approach emphasizes connection, honesty, and practical tools for improving daily functioning and relationships. Tyler understands that each client’s needs are unique, and he tailors his interventions to support healing and growth at the client’s pace.
Outside of therapy, Tyler is an avid sports fan who enjoys spending time on the golf course and cheering for the Dayton Flyers, Ohio State Football, and the Cleveland Browns. His enthusiasm for both mental wellness and personal passions helps him bring balance and authenticity to the care he provides.
