About Mary Kate Bunstine (She/Her)
Mary Kate Bunstine helps adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. Through individual therapy at LifeStance Health, she supports patients across Ohio who are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, and concerns related to women’s issues while working toward meaningful and lasting personal growth.
Mary Kate believes that every person’s story is unique and deserving of thoughtful, individualized care. She creates a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and develop practical strategies to improve emotional well-being. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in collaboration, helping clients feel empowered as they work toward their goals and greater resilience in everyday life.
A particular area of focus for Mary Kate is helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and women’s issues. She understands the impact these concerns can have on relationships, self-esteem, daily functioning, and overall quality of life. By meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their specific needs, she helps them gain tools to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
Mary Kate incorporates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and Christian counseling when aligned with a client’s values and preferences. She works with adults ranging from young adulthood through later adulthood and offers additional support for a variety of emotional and mental health concerns beyond her primary areas of focus.
Outside of her clinical work, Mary Kate enjoys spending time with loved ones, watching hockey, listening to music and faith-based podcasts, staying active, and spending time in prayer. These personal interests help her maintain a balanced perspective and reinforce the importance of connection, wellness, and personal growth.
