Dominic Misiak, DO, is a board-certified psychiatrist based in Novi, Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 2013 before pursuing his medical education at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his DO in 2019. He then completed his psychiatry residency at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in 2023.

Dr. Misiak provides psychiatric care for adults ages 18 to 64, taking a holistic and compassionate approach that fosters a non-judgmental environment for his patients. He emphasizes the importance of lifestyle interventions—such as nutrition, sleep, and exercise—alongside evidence-based treatments to support overall well-being. He specializes in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, with a particular focus on PTSD and trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.

First thing that I noticed is the decor. Easily the most attractive doctors office I've ever been to, the Japandi theme is just excellent. I've been working with Dr. Misiak for a few minutes and he makes the process very simple and is attentive to my needs and concerns. The appointments feel very casual and to the point. Dr.Misiak is super nice and easy to talk to. I struggle with autism and it makes it hard to communicate my needs sometimes. So he’s very patient and willing to help make u feel better in any way he can. He goes above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and kind. I always had female drs all my life up till recent with him and the transition was so easy and comfortable. He really listens to u.

Dr. Misiak was an excellent psychiatrist that I felt very comfortable speaking to. Very soft spoken, analytical and emotionally intelligent. We got to a good diagnosis, he explained his reasons very openly and easily and even mentioned a few personal details to help relate specific topics together.

He is a great therapist. He actually f take to you and checks up on you. Right now from my last therapist had me on a high dose of anxiety meds and it is hard taper off them but he didn't do it quickly he tried to make sure I was comfortable. My fiancee sees him too. No complaints he's a good guy
