About Emma Compton (She/Her)
Emma Compton is a dependently licensed therapist under the supervision of Jasmine Janis, MSW, LISW-S. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, and her Master Social Work from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining LifeStance, she worked as an intensive home-based clinician for children ages 5-18 and their families. Throughout her experience as a clinician, Emma has experience with a variety of practice areas including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues in both individual and family settings. She utilizes and incorporates evidence-based methods including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Emma works to create a safe and accepting environment for all clients and aims to help them find and utilize their own strengths.
