Kristen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who received her Master of Arts Degree from Wake Forest University after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2015. Kristen is a North Carolina native as is thrilled to be working to serve the needs of clients in her hometown.
Kristen has experience working with clients of all ages in a variety of setting, including schools, out-patient clinics, and home-base therapy. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families to reach goals and improve quality of life through open communication and mindfulness. Kristen also has experience working with children, teens, and young adults on the autism spectrum through ABA therapy. Kristen believes the therapy experience should be as unique as each individual. She draws upon a wide range of theories to meet the needs of each client, including Cognitive Behavioral, Person Centered, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends. She enjoys reading, supporting local artists and musicians, traveling, and exploring historic landmarks.
