Rachael Birge helps teens and adults across Indiana manage complex mental health concerns through thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric medication management at LifeStance Health. She works collaboratively with patients to better understand their symptoms, improve emotional wellness, and develop treatment plans that support long-term stability and quality of life. Rachael provides care for individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns, always striving to create a supportive and respectful environment where patients feel heard and understood.

Rachael is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital and may be navigating the transition back into daily life. She understands that this period can feel overwhelming and believes continuity of care, compassionate support, and effective medication management can play a critical role in recovery. She also has a strong clinical interest in treating ADHD in teens and adults, helping patients improve focus, organization, emotional regulation, and overall functioning.

Her approach to psychiatric care is individualized and collaborative, recognizing that each patient’s experiences, goals, and symptoms are unique. In addition to her primary areas of focus, Rachael also provides support for bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, grief, and substance use concerns. She has experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military veterans, first responders, and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Rachael also speaks Spanish, allowing her to support a broader range of patients seeking mental health care in Indiana.

As a psychiatric provider, Rachael values building trusting therapeutic relationships and helping patients feel empowered in their treatment decisions. She takes time to educate patients about medication options, symptom management, and realistic treatment goals while promoting a compassionate and judgment-free experience.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for her two rescue dogs, playing golf, cooking, and exploring creative hobbies like crafting. These activities help her maintain balance and bring warmth and authenticity to her patient care.
