About Linzi Leighton (She/Her)

Linzi Leighton is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing since 2012. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2005 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2012.

Linzi believes in using a collaborate approach that is patient-centered and individualized. She provides support, guidance, and education to address individual needs and enhance emotional well-being. In addition to medication management, she also utilizes psychodynamic psychotherapy to help patients find patterns in their thoughts, beliefs and emotions and gain insight into themselves and their behaviors.

In her spare time, Linzi enjoys bicycling, traveling, and getting together with friends and family.

I've been going to Dr. White's office of LifeStance Health for many years now. The office staff are so lovely, they're so welcoming and helpful. I see Linzi Leighton, she does exceptionally well with my diagnosis and treatment plan. She's very personable and very caring. She really listens and gets to the root of the problem. Great advice on breathing techniques really help. I've made great improvements (aside from going thru anticipatory grief with a family member). Very responsive to my questions or concerns I may have, thru they're messaging system. She also does very well with my autistic adult son. Rapid responses on medication refills. I would definitely recommend Dr. White's office of LifeStance Health off I-10 & Bingle.

Dr. Leighton has been my psychiatrist for several years now. There aren’t really words that can be expressed to capture the way that she has supported my journey to mental health. She listens, and remembers, and empowers, and at no point have I ever felt like I’m just a profit margin that she has rushed conversation through. This has been so life changing because I’ve never felt over medicated, or de-valued. I started originally with Dr. White while Dr. Leighton was still working toward becoming a psychiatrist and it’s been obvious that Dr. White is committed to a culture in her office of humanity. Dr. White is equally amazing, as is all of the office staff. I don’t know where I’d be without them.

I have been going to this place Since 2013. Lindsay and Dr White are extraordinarily professional and caring deeply about what’s going on with your mental health. Not a place that moves us through like cattle and collect our co-pay like your Every day doctors do. Here you are a person, a name, and illness, not patient number XYZ. Lindzi Is more than A doctor but a true true person that cares for my families well-being, and works tirelessly to get us what we need. I recommend them wholeheartedly. And I never recommend people for anything. You cannot go wrong. Going to see these folks. Good luck to you with your health well-being.

I have been seeing Linzi for 12 years and have been going to LIFESTANCE health for almost 10 years and I do not recommend any other psychiatrist. The staff is amazing, the nurse practitioners are amazing, Dr. White is also amazing. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my mental health other than lifestance health. They’re quick, but not rushy, I never feel like I’m getting in and out. They take the time to express all my concerns and issues and they’re always there when I need them via phone call or email in between appointments. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Linzi has made a major impact in my life. She listens to all of my concerns and is very empathetic. She explains my treatment plan at every visit. Linzi's knowledge and guidance helps calm me even when my symptoms increase due to stress I never felt uncomfortable discussing anything with Linzi. I highly recommend her. She is the best nurse practitioner. Thank you Linzi. You really make a difference.

Easily the best experience I’ve ever had with a psychiatrist which is why I’ve been a patient for over a decade. They actually take the time do the proper tests and screenings to give you an accurate diagnosis and they were willing to work with me when I lost access to my health insurance. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of psychiatric services
