Dr. Penelope Libeu is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and has been in practice since 2018. She received her BA from UC Berkeley, earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College, and graduated from Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s psychiatry residency program.

Dr. Libeu’s approach to improving mental health is multidisciplinary and may include combining medication(s) with psychotherapy, group therapy, relationship (couple’s) therapy, and making lifestyle changes to improve your overall well-being, e.g. improving sleep hygiene, reducing alcohol/drug consumption, increasing cardiovascular exercise, starting a meditation practice, volunteering in one’s community, increasing social connections, and engaging with one’s natural surroundings, to name a few.
