About Mr. Edsel Cadet (He/Him)

Edsel Cadet helps children, teens, and adults develop practical tools to navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful personal growth. As a therapist with LifeStance Health, he provides compassionate mental health care to individuals, couples, and families throughout Massachusetts. He works collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences and create personalized treatment plans that support lasting change and improved well-being.

Edsel has experience helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. He recognizes that emotional struggles can affect every aspect of life, from relationships and family dynamics to work, school, and self-confidence. His treatment approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that each person has the capacity to build resilience and create positive change when given the appropriate support and guidance.

In his work with clients, Edsel integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples/Marital Counseling, and Christian Counseling when aligned with a client’s preferences and goals. He also provides additional therapeutic services tailored to individual needs. Whether working with a child experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges, a teen navigating important life transitions, or an adult facing stress and relationship concerns, he strives to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages growth and self-discovery.

Relationships are a central focus of Edsel’s practice. He enjoys helping couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and develop healthier patterns of connection. Through couples and family therapy, he supports clients in addressing conflict, strengthening bonds, and creating more fulfilling relationships. He believes that healthier relationships can have a powerful impact on overall mental and emotional wellness.

Edsel earned his education from William James College and is committed to ongoing professional development so he can continue providing high-quality care to those he serves.

Outside of his clinical work, Edsel enjoys sports, chess, and reading. These interests reflect his appreciation for strategy, lifelong learning, and healthy recreation, values that also influence his therapeutic approach. Through LifeStance Health, he is proud to support children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Massachusetts with skilled, compassionate mental health care.
