Alice Pottackal, PsyD, Post-doctoral Fellow, Post-Doctoral Fellow in Weymouth, Massachusetts

Dr. Pottackal is dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of psychological presentations such as depression, anxiety, trauma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), life transitions and interpersonal relationship challenges. She values a holistic treatment approach, paying close attention to clients’ mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. After thorough evaluation of the client’s needs, Dr. Pottackal incorporates a variety of evidenced-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), family systems, and mindfulness-based interventions. Education and Certifications: Dr. Pottackal completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at LifeStance where she provided short- and long-term therapy, administered psychological evaluations and co-led a child behavior management group for parents. Dr. Pottackal received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child and Families of Adversity and Resilience at William James College. Prior to this, she received her master’s degree in clinical psychology at Columbia University.
