About Michaela Soper (She/Her)
Helping patients across Massachusetts develop confidence, resilience, and meaningful coping skills is at the heart of Michaela Soper’s approach to care at LifeStance Health. She provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, teens, and adults, creating a supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward lasting emotional wellness. Michaela commonly works with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals with a variety of additional mental health needs.
Michaela is especially passionate about helping people navigate the effects of trauma and PTSD, an area that has been a central focus of her clinical training and experience. She understands that difficult experiences can shape the way people view themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. Through a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic process, she helps clients process painful experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, and reconnect with a sense of safety, purpose, and personal empowerment.
Her treatment approach is individualized and grounded in evidence-based care. Michaela incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Therapy, along with additional therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s needs and goals. She also provides psychological testing services and has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and those involved in adoption or foster care systems, among other populations.
Michaela earned degrees from the University of Denver and William James College and began practicing in 2020. Her broad clinical experience has allowed her to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, helping them navigate concerns ranging from emotional and behavioral challenges to major life transitions.
Outside of her professional work, Michaela enjoys reading, participating in animal rescue efforts, and spending time with her daughter. These interests reflect the compassion, curiosity, and connection she brings to her work with clients each day.
Whether seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or psychological testing services, patients throughout Massachusetts can expect an affirming and collaborative approach focused on meaningful growth and lasting well-being. Michaela is committed to helping clients move toward their goals with confidence and support.
