About Min-Chen Tsai (She/Her)
Min-Chen Tsai is a pre-licensed clinician who provides individual therapy for adults in Massachusetts. She is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical support. Min-Chen works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and substance use concerns, while also supporting individuals facing a variety of other mental health and life challenges.
Min-Chen believes that every person brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals to therapy. She strives to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Her approach is culturally responsive and tailored to each individual’s needs, drawing from evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices.
She has experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and military members and veterans, among other populations. Whether someone is seeking support for a specific concern or looking to build greater balance and resilience, Min-Chen works alongside her clients to help them develop skills, gain insight, and move toward their personal goals.
Outside of the therapy office, Min-Chen enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, and staying active through biking and long walks. She also values lifelong learning and finds inspiration through books, movies, art, and everyday experiences. Min-Chen speaks Mandarin and Chinese and welcomes the opportunity to support clients from diverse backgrounds. She is committed to helping individuals build on their strengths and create lasting, positive change in their lives.
