Helping adults across Massachusetts find relief from emotional challenges and improve their overall well-being, Rumana Ahmed provides thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric medication management through LifeStance Health. She works with adults who are navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, helping them better understand their symptoms and identify treatment options that align with their goals. Rumana believes that successful mental health care begins with listening, collaboration, and creating a treatment plan that supports each individual’s unique needs and circumstances.

Rumana is particularly passionate about helping patients manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She understands how these conditions can affect daily functioning, relationships, work performance, and quality of life. Through careful evaluation and ongoing medication management, she helps patients gain greater stability, improve focus, strengthen coping abilities, and move toward lasting emotional wellness. Her approach emphasizes open communication and shared decision-making so patients feel informed and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

In addition to her primary areas of focus, Rumana has experience supporting individuals with bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related concerns, grief, life transitions, sleep difficulties, reproductive mental health concerns, and women’s mental health needs. She also welcomes and supports members of the LGBTQ+ community and provides inclusive, affirming care that respects each patient’s identity and lived experience.

Rumana earned degrees from the University of North Florida and The City College of New York before completing her medical education at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She began practicing in 2022 and remains committed to delivering evidence-based psychiatric care with compassion, professionalism, and respect.

Outside of her clinical work, Rumana enjoys spending time with her cats, experimenting with new recipes, and traveling to new places. These interests help her maintain balance, stay curious, and reinforce the importance of self-care and overall wellness. She also speaks Bengla, allowing her to connect with and support a broader range of patients.

Rumana welcomes adults throughout Massachusetts who are seeking expert psychiatric medication management for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. Through LifeStance Health, she is dedicated to helping patients build resilience, achieve greater stability, and improve their quality of life.
