Dr. Brian Daneshvar, DO, is a board-certified psychiatrist who provides comprehensive psychiatric care to adults throughout Michigan. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns. His approach emphasizes thoughtful, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s individual needs, experiences, and goals. Dr. Daneshvar believes that effective psychiatric care begins with understanding the person behind the symptoms. He takes a collaborative approach to treatment, working with patients to better understand their concerns and develop practical, individualized plans to improve daily functioning and overall quality of life. Treatment may include psychiatric medication management as well as the incorporation of evidence-based therapeutic principles, including cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based strategies, when appropriate. In addition to his general adult psychiatry practice, Dr. Daneshvar has a particular interest in helping individuals navigate complex mental health concerns and significant life transitions. Dr. Daneshvar earned his undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He went on to earn both his Master of Medical Science (M.M.S.) degree and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital and is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. His osteopathic medical training complements his approach to psychiatry by emphasizing the importance of considering the whole person and the many factors that can influence mental and physical well-being. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Daneshvar enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, staying active, and pursuing his passion for cars.
