Dr. Shyvonne Gray received her M.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She then completed four years of residency in general psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. After completing residency, she treated patients with severe mental illness at Jacobi Medical Center in New York City. She then moved back to Oklahoma, where she served as the medical director of Oakwood Springs Hospital in Oklahoma City. She comes to us from her Edmond private practice, Modern Mindcare, where she specialized in mood and anxiety disorders. She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and she is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr Gray is beyond what a psychiatrist should be! She listens and is very knowledgeable since I've been there my adhd and depression is 10 times better. My alcohol intake has decreased tremendously and I can sleep at night. Cheri Ledbetter is an amazing therapist and she makes you really think. My thought process has changed so much since seeing her. I am extremely grateful and I feel blessed as before coming to lifestance I didn't know if I wanted to continue living. Thank you!

Dr. Gray is a wonderful psychiatrist! She is always very thorough, takes time to answer questions, has a pleasant demeanor, and genuinely cares about your mental health. The staff is kind, the atmosphere is welcoming and I would easily recommend Dr. Gray & Lifestance to anyone seeking help for mental health issues, including treatment resistant depression.

I have been seeing Dr. Gray for a while. I love that my treatment is catered to me and we discuss the plan together. I have seen many psychiatrist over the years that would just prescribe and send me on my way. She is different.

I’ve been going to Dr. Gray for about 5 years, mostly for medication management. She is kind and cares about your mental and physical health without being overbearing. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking around.
