Pavithra Wickramage helps adults and older adults across Texas take meaningful steps toward improved mental health through personalized psychiatric medication management and compassionate, evidence-based care. At LifeStance Health, she partners with patients to better understand their symptoms, identify effective treatment options, and create individualized plans that support long-term emotional wellness. Her approach is centered on collaboration, respect, and understanding the unique experiences that shape each person’s mental health journey. Dr. Wickramage has experience treating a variety of mental health conditions, with particular focus on anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She also provides care for individuals facing concerns related to mood disorders, trauma, sleep disturbances, grief, and other psychiatric conditions. Recognizing that emotional health is closely connected to physical health and daily functioning, she works closely with patients to address the full picture of their well-being while offering support for additional mental health challenges. She is especially passionate about helping individuals affected by Functional Neurological Disorder, weight wellness concerns, self-esteem challenges, and stress management. Dr. Wickramage understands that these issues can significantly impact quality of life, relationships, and overall health. She strives to provide thoughtful, patient-centered treatment that helps individuals build confidence, develop healthier coping strategies, and make sustainable progress toward their personal goals. In addition to serving adults throughout different stages of life, Dr. Wickramage has experience supporting diverse communities, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders, while also caring for many other populations. Her clinical interests extend across numerous areas of psychiatry, allowing her to tailor treatment recommendations to the specific needs, circumstances, and goals of each patient. Dr. Wickramage earned her education and training through The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, UNTHSC School of Public Health, and the UNTHSC Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Since beginning her practice in 2026, she has remained committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care that combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. These interests help her maintain balance and bring curiosity, creativity, and perspective to her work with patients.
