I have seen a few psychiatrist over the last 15 years, and I know how difficult it is to establish a relationship that is comfortable and genuine. Dr. Fred and his team have helped and supported me during a very problematic time in my life where I felt I was in a hole that I would never be able to climb out of. I was struggling with problem after problem after problem and it felt never ending. I thankfully found this doctor’s office and was able to connect with Cam during intake & Maheen who both went above and beyond to help eliminate one more problem that I was facing and they quickly got me onto Dr. Fred’s schedule. I was in tears by the end of the phone call and blown away by the pure graciousness that these strangers showed me. I’ve seen Dr Fred 3x and we have set up a treatment plan that works for me and he takes into consideration ALL of my life’s circumstances when creating this plan WITH me. I still find myself anxious before my appointments, from past experiences with other providers, but it immediately melts away once my appointment begins with Dr. Fred. Dr Fred treats his clients for who they are and that is PEOPLE. Discussing my life with Dr Fred is easy and comfortable. He has never made me feel like a lost cause, a problem, dramatic or just another file. I can honestly say that as long as Dr. Fred is practicing I will continue to be a loyal patient To him.

I first chose LifeStance Group after spending near decades meeting with doctors, therapist and psychiatrists that didn’t quite get me. The year(s) 2024 and 2025, were most efficient in which we are continuing to progress beyond coping and working through debilitating post trauma stress disorder, anxiety and a variety of other mental health conditions related to my severe brain injury. Dr. Darren Fred has gone above and beyond when discussing my circumstances to give guidance and insight when I wasn’t capable of talking to anyone. Dr. Fred is amazing!!! He doesn’t rush you through your visits. He takes the time to get to know you, follow up on all your life’s events since your last call, and he truly cares about his patients. Conversations with him are like shooting the breeze with my best friend. He is so easy to talk to. I recommend him 100%!!!

Dr. Fred seems more like a friend than a therapist. Don't get it wrong, he is a GREAT therapist to the point where it feels like he genuinely cares about you and his follow ups are more of a casual conversation about how you're improving than other robotic therapists I've had in the past. Highly recommend him!
