She graduated from Alliant International University with a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, and later obtained Geriatric Training Certificate. She spent many years working with Geriatric population with evidence-based programs and successfully helping many homebound individuals becoming more self-sufficient.
Dr. Wu believes in Eclectic Approach. She often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, strength-based approach and Family System Therapy to assist individuals to achieve their goals. Dr. Wu is a multilingual (English, Mandarin, & Taiwanese) psychologist who has worked with patients from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. She is culturally sensitive in providing a comprehensive range of mental health services for a diverse population. She believes Spirituality/Christianity can play an important role in mental health healing. Dr. Wu focuses on tailoring the treatment plan and assisting individuals at where they are to improve their mental health and overall well-being.
In her spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys baking, crafting, hiking, and gardening. She also takes joy in spending time with her family playing board games and watching movies.
