Courtney B. Kelsch, Ph.D.
Dr. Kelsch is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing individual therapy to adults aged 21 and older. She specializes in trauma-focused treatment, addressing concerns relevant to LGBTQ+ individuals, supporting adjustment to medical conditions, and improving health/wellness. She also treats clients with general mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, and stress. Dr. Kelsch practices with an integrative approach using cognitive behavioral therapy modalities (cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure) as well as using eclectic, client-centered treatment informed by acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and existential/meaning making approaches. She sees clients by telehealth only, Mondays through Thursdays, with both daytime and evening hours.
Dr. Kelsch earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Miami in 2015, with a secondary focus on PTSD treatment. She completed her Medical Psychology internship at the Phoenix VA Medical Center, where she also trained in the PTSD Clinic. She completed a post-doctoral internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System in LGBT Health Care and served as an interventionist at The Fenway Institute for 2 years in a clinical trial involving risk-reduction in sexual minority men with childhood trauma histories.
