My particular areas of interest include autism and ADHD, especially presentations that are frequently overlooked or misunderstood. I have a special interest in the experiences of individuals who mask or camouflage their neurodivergent traits, particularly girls and women, as well as individuals with less traditional presentations of autism, including PDA presentations of autism. My own experience as an AuDHDer also informs the way I approach evaluations, allowing me to bring personal insight and empathy to the assessment process while recognizing that every neurodivergent person’s experience is unique. I believe that these perspectives can help create a more compassionate and nuanced assessment process.

I also have experience evaluating a broad range of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, academic, and neurological concerns. In addition to neurodiversity evaluations, I assess learning disorders, intellectual disability, anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and other psychological and developmental conditions. I also have experience evaluating adults for neurological conditions, including concussion and traumatic brain injury, stroke, movement disorders, and neurocognitive disorders such as dementia.

My approach to assessment is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. I strive to create an environment where patients and families feel comfortable being themselves and where their experiences are taken seriously. I believe neuropsychological assessment should provide more than a list of diagnoses. It should help people understand the “why” behind their experiences, identify their strengths and challenges, and provide practical recommendations that can support them at home, at school, at work, and in treatment.

I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to do work that helps people better understand themselves. I am excited to serve the diverse neuropsychological needs of our Texas community and to help individuals and families move from uncertainty toward greater understanding, self-advocacy, and meaningful support.
