Working closely with the patient, I believe in using the biopsychosocial model to address mental health problems. Through examination of the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors, an individualized treatment plan can be created to best address targets to improve quality of life. I am comfortable treating a broad spectrum of diagnoses including mood disorders such as depression and bipolar, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and PTSD. My treatment mainly focuses on medication management as well as education on other treatment options such as various psychotherapy modalities.

I obtained my undergraduate degree at Centre College and my medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. I moved to Los Angeles and completed my general residency in Adult Psychiatry at the UCLA/Greater LA VA Psychiatry program. I am board certified in adult psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Hobbies of mine include: traveling abroad, experiencing new cultures, eating great food, hiking, jogging, technology, video games, anime/manga, and cooking.
