Dennis Olsen, LMFT, helps children, teens, and adults navigate life challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy. As a Marriage & Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, he provides individual and family therapy for patients throughout California, supporting those who are seeking meaningful change in their emotional well-being, relationships, and daily functioning. Dennis creates a welcoming, collaborative space where patients can feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward their goals. Dennis has experience helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting concerns such as trauma, grief, school avoidance, childhood behavioral issues, substance use challenges, gender identity exploration, men’s issues, and health-related stressors. He works with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs and stage of life. His approach emphasizes building resilience, strengthening coping skills, and fostering long-term growth. Dennis utilizes evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while incorporating additional therapeutic approaches when appropriate. His treatment style is thoughtful, adaptable, and focused on helping patients gain the tools they need to manage symptoms, overcome obstacles, and improve overall quality of life. Outside of his clinical work, Dennis enjoys staying active through fitness, following sports, and singing.
