I believe in the individual’s voice and therapist’s non-judgmental approach as driving forces in building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families work through their traumas/stressors, in order to develop effective ways to cope through life’s ups and downs and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and have extensive experience working with young children, adolescents, adults, and their families at various community mental health agencies in Los Angeles. I utilize evidenced-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adapting Practice, and Exposure Therapy to help individuals meet their specific goals. Additionally, I often use Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Reality/Choice Theories to help guide an individual’s unique therapeutic process.
