Hi, I am Brenda Hailey. I received my master’s degree from Mercer University. I know the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment for my clients. It can be difficult and scary coming to talk to a therapist. Many people worry about being judged or are dealing with painful emotions or experiences. I am particularly passionate about working with women who struggle with postpartum depression/anxiety, substance abuse/codependency and couple’s counseling. As a mother myself, I have a great deal of experience parenting and enjoy working with children of 11+. I consider myself an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and am open to working with all gender identities and sexual orientations. I offer a multi-varied approach using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I also have my Gottman Level 1 training in couple’s counseling. Outside of work, I enjoy 12-step meetings, walking and crocheting. I look forward to working with you and sharing your healing journey.
