About Amanda Chappell (She/Her)
Amanda Chappell helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults navigate emotional challenges, build confidence, and develop practical skills for lasting mental wellness. At LifeStance Health, she provides therapy services for individuals and families across Georgia, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. Amanda works collaboratively with clients to create a supportive environment where healing, growth, and meaningful change can occur. Amanda has particular experience helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. She understands how these challenges can affect relationships, academic performance, work, self-esteem, and daily functioning. Through a personalized approach, she helps clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies that support long-term resilience. Her goal is to empower clients to move forward with greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and confidence. She also works with children and teens experiencing ADHD, childhood behavior concerns, school avoidance, grief, and other emotional or behavioral difficulties. Amanda recognizes the importance of involving families when appropriate and helps strengthen communication, connection, and support systems. Using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Therapy, she creates treatment plans that are responsive to each client’s needs. She also offers additional therapeutic approaches to support a wide range of mental health concerns. Amanda believes that therapy should be a safe and collaborative space where clients feel respected, understood, and encouraged. She is committed to meeting individuals where they are in their journey while helping them identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve meaningful personal growth. Outside of her professional work, Amanda enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and dogs. These experiences help reinforce her appreciation for connection, balance, and the importance of nurturing overall well-being. Amanda earned degrees from Webster University and the University of South Carolina Upstate, bringing a strong educational foundation to her clinical practice. She is proud to serve clients throughout Georgia who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and other mental health concerns.
