Cheryl Fregolle, MSW, LMSW

I have been a psychotherapist in private practice for nearly 30 years providing individual, couples and family-focused psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. I earned a Master in Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 1996 and a Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies in 1998. In 2016, I returned to college and recently earned a second Master’s Degree in Public Administration. In my practice, my commitment is to provide a warm, welcoming environment where my clients can feel safe and open to sharing their feelings, thoughts and experiences. I use a blend of psychotherapeutic methods in my practice, including CBT, mindfulness, person-focused and solution-focused, and I treat all ages from 4 through older adults. I have expertise working with couples, families and people with autism and other intellectual or developmental challenges, and I also provide Christian Counseling for those who wish to incorporate spiritual beliefs into their therapy. In my personal life, I am married, and I have two young adult children — a son and a daughter — and a gaggle of fur-babies (dogs, cats and bunnies). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling to our family cottage, watching movies, listening to music, bowling, meditation, swimming and lifelong learning.
