Sandra Mayta is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with more than three years of experience specializing in Anxiety, Depression, Grief, and Trauma. Sandra treats patients between the ages of 11 and 64 utilizing Person Centered, Gestalt, Emotion Focused Individual Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Sandra strives to create not only a safe space where patients can explore their presenting concerns but also a brave space where patients can practice new ways of feeling, thinking and behaving. Prior to obtaining licensure, Sandra worked in the mental health field for nearly ten years in multiple levels of patient care including private practice, TMS, day programs, residential facilities, crisis centers, and inpatient hospitals with patients across all ages and socioeconomic statuses. In her free time, Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, friends, plants, and animals, dancing whenever possible, and adventuring outdoors.
