I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I am a licensed social worker, working towards a license in clinical social work. I have over seven years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in school and outpatient settings providing individual and group therapy in addition to psychoeducational and social skills education. I believe that a strong and trusting therapist-client connection is the foundation of any meaningful therapeutic relationship. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based and nonjudgmental. My goal is to collaborate with clients to problem solve and find perspective in order to gain insight as well as develop concrete strategies that will help reduce disruptive and maladaptive behaviors. In my practice I integrate facets of cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic therapy combined with additional therapeutic approaches depending upon individual needs as I feel there is no one size fits all approach. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I also enjoy playing pickleball, ping pong, drums and chess. In addition I make sure to find time to exercise, listen to music, take in a movie, watch a hockey game, work on projects around the house and either at the end of or before it all, relax with a cup of coffee.
