About Alexis Pitzer
Alexis Pitzer, LPCC, is a compassionate therapist serving clients across Ohio, offering personalized mental health care to individuals facing a range of challenges. With extensive experience in various levels of mental health care, Alexis works with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate mood disorders, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, and grief. Her approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but she remains flexible in adapting her interventions to meet the unique needs of each client. Alexis strives to create a friendly, supportive environment, where individuals feel empowered to explore their mental health with authenticity and care. Specializing in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and women’s issues, Alexis also supports clients through midlife transitions and stress-related concerns. She offers career counseling and stress management strategies, understanding how both internal and external factors can impact well-being. Alexis has a particular passion for working with men, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and military veterans, creating a safe and affirming space for healing. When she’s not in session, Alexis enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, antiquing, and crafting. As an animal lover, she recognizes the therapeutic impact of pets on mental health and values the bond between humans and their fur-babies.
