Jenny Murphy is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Michigan who has been practicing since 2010. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology from Western Michigan University and an M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Over her past twelve years of experience, Jenny has developed a specialization in helping children and their parents navigate the difficulties that come with parenting. She uses a combination of therapeutic techniques to provide individualized interventions for her clients. Jenny’s interventions address identifying and managing emotions, promoting effective self-regulation skills, establishing positive communication, increasing the self-esteem of all participants, and much more. In addition, she enjoys working with young adults as they transition into more independent roles and the challenges that come with these major life transitions. Jenny is also the wife of an active-duty military member and is familiar with the additional stressors of the military lifestyle. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys running, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family!
