Rebecca Welch, MSW, LCSW,
About Rebecca Welch (She/Her)
Rebecca Welch helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy to patients throughout Pennsylvania, helping them build resilience, develop healthier coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Rebecca creates a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey. Rebecca has experience helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and grief, while also supporting those working through trauma and difficult life transitions. Her approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, recognizing that no two experiences are the same. She integrates proven therapeutic strategies to help clients gain insight, strengthen emotional well-being, and improve daily functioning. Rebecca is especially passionate about helping individuals heal from PTSD and trauma. She utilizes trauma-informed, evidence-based treatments, including Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to support clients as they process traumatic experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and regain a greater sense of control in their lives. She understands the courage it takes to engage in trauma work and strives to create a safe, supportive space throughout the healing process. Her therapeutic style incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Through these approaches, Rebecca helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and cultivate greater emotional awareness. She also offers support for additional mental health concerns and treatment needs beyond her primary areas of focus. Rebecca earned her education from the University of Pennsylvania and Brandeis University. Her professional experience and commitment to ongoing growth allow her to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care to a diverse range of clients. Outside of her clinical work, Rebecca enjoys running and working out, reading, exploring new cuisines, and following sports. These interests help her maintain balance and bring curiosity and energy to both her personal and professional life.
