About Janethia Buckley (She/Her)
Janethia Buckley helps adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based care. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families throughout Texas, supporting clients as they work toward greater emotional well-being, stronger relationships, and lasting personal growth. Janethia believes that healing begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. She is particularly experienced in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns while also supporting those facing grief, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Janethia works collaboratively with clients to identify patterns that may be preventing them from living fully and develops personalized strategies that foster resilience, self-awareness, and confidence. Her approach is grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges and build practical tools for everyday life. Janethia is especially passionate about helping clients navigate women’s issues, stress management, and midlife transitions. She understands that periods of change can bring uncertainty, emotional strain, and questions about identity or purpose. Through thoughtful guidance and evidence-based interventions, she helps clients gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with greater balance and fulfillment. Her therapeutic approach may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. She also offers additional therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. By focusing on both immediate concerns and long-term emotional wellness, Janethia supports clients in creating sustainable and meaningful change. Outside of her clinical work, Janethia enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring new places, cooking, and maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness and exercise. She values family traditions, meaningful milestones, and opportunities to create lasting memories with the people she cares about most. Her passion for helping others extends beyond the therapy room and reflects her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Janethia combines professional expertise with genuine empathy to support adults across Texas.
