With over 25 years of experience, Kristin Hellauer, LCSW, has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, medical social work and community mental health. Some of Kristin’s areas of professional interest include providing support through life transitions, anxiety and depression, blended family issues, grief and loss, trauma and helping to manage the stress of medical illnesses and mental health issues. Providing her patients a safe and nonjudgmental space, to talk about whatever is important to them, is a priority to Kristin. Educated at Columbia University, where she earned a Masters in Social Work degree and at Vanderbilt University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
