Carrie Banaszak is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2015. She has a Master of Science in Community Psychology from Alverno College.

Carrie values the healing potential of human connection and believe that sharing moments of loss, shame, joy, and disappointment can lead to stronger self-acceptance and connection with others. Her priority is to provide a comfortable and safe space for you to talk about your personal issues and concerns. Carrie is non-judgmental, patient, and understanding. She strives to help her clients, who include children, families, and adults find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as healthy, complete, whole, and safe. Carrie knows that no one single approach is right for everyone, therefore she utilizes a client-centered approach while incorporating therapeutic interventions rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment theory, Play therapy, and Brainspotting to promote healing and personal empowerment. Carrie has 8+ years of experience working with Neurodivergent individuals, those who experience ADHD, attachment wounds, anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, grief and loss, suicidal ideation, and self-harming behaviors. She understands the impact the COVID has had on our collective mental wellness and is passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys riding her motorcycle, hiking, and going out to eat, and to the park with her children and grandchildren.
