About Maria Valentine
Maria Valentine is committed to providing compassionate and personalized therapy for individuals and couples facing a variety of mental health challenges. Serving clients throughout Wisconsin, Maria uses her extensive experience to help patients manage life stressors, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. She offers individual and couples therapy, tailoring her approach to each client’s needs to ensure a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth. Whether you are an adult or a teen navigating the complexities of mental health, Maria strives to empower you with the tools to create lasting change and improve your overall well-being. Maria is passionate about helping individuals and couples strengthen their emotional and relational health. She specializes in Christian Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), working with clients who seek to incorporate faith-based perspectives into their treatment or who are looking to develop healthier thought patterns. Maria also has a deep commitment to working with couples, offering Couples and Marital Counseling to help partners build stronger, more communicative relationships. Her dedication to mindfulness further enhances her therapeutic techniques, providing clients with tools to manage stress and anxiety in their daily lives. Maria’s expertise extends to helping adolescents and young adults, offering a safe space for teens and individuals aged 11 to 40 to explore their emotions, tackle challenges, and build resilience. She is particularly skilled at working with men and women seeking guidance in areas of personal growth, relational issues, and stress management. Through her work, she encourages clients to be active participants in their own healing process, offering support and encouragement every step of the way. Outside of her work at LifeStance Health, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the mountains, and creating miniature dollhouse furniture. She finds joy in riding her bike, taking walks, and exploring her love for horses. Maria also pursues the traditional craft of chair caning, reviving this intricate art form in her free time.
