MEET THE GUEST

Melanie Falls, MSW, LISW-S

Melanie Falls is an LISW-S and LICDC-CS who has been practicing since 1995. She graduated from KSU’s Honors College and Case Western Reserve University with a Master’s in Social Science Administration. Her track was clinical with a focus on working with Adolescents, Adults and Families. Melanie believes in starting with where the individual client is and understanding what has influenced them including the family and systems in which they exist. She believes in using an eclectic approach individualized to each client. She is trained in Mind Body techniques, Meditation, Trauma Informed Care, CBT, DBT, Couple and Family Therapy and Chemical Dependency treatment approaches. Her main areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, women’s issues, LGBTQIA populations, couples and families. In her spare time Melanie volunteers for the Human Rights Campaign working with marginalized populations. She is passionate about books, travel, health/wellness and fashion. She spends her spare time with her partner, four children and eight grandchildren
