Alexander Lamping, CT,
About Alexander Lamping (He/Him)
Alexander Lamping helps teens, adults, and seniors across Ohio gain clarity, stability, and renewed confidence through individualized mental health care at LifeStance Health. Serving clients throughout OH, he provides individual therapy for concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. His approach is practical and goal-oriented, helping clients develop skills they can apply immediately in daily life while fostering long-term emotional growth.
Alexander is particularly committed to supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that the period following hospitalization can feel overwhelming and uncertain. With structured guidance and consistent support, he helps clients rebuild routines, strengthen coping strategies, and reduce the risk of relapse. His work emphasizes accountability, safety planning, and restoring a sense of stability during this critical transition.
His clinical specialties include anxiety, PTSD/trauma, and depression, while also offering support for ADHD, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, grief, and midlife transitions. Alexander integrates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques to address negative thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and enhance resilience. When aligned with a client’s values, he can also incorporate faith-based treatment into the therapeutic process. He has experience working with first responders, military members and veterans, individuals on the autism spectrum, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Since beginning his practice in 2026, Alexander has focused on creating a therapeutic environment that is steady, respectful, and solutions-focused. He works collaboratively with teens and adults to define clear goals and build meaningful progress, whether addressing mood disorders, trauma recovery, or men’s mental health concerns.
Outside of his clinical work, Alexander enjoys smoking BBQ, cooking, playing console and PC games, building Lego sets, and spending time with his rescue dogs. These hobbies reflect his appreciation for patience, creativity, and balance.
