Katie Wright
Mrs. Carrie Wright helps children and adolescents across Texas build emotional resilience, manage behavioral challenges, and navigate life’s early hurdles with confidence and support. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she offers individual and family therapy for children as young as preschool age through the teen years. Her compassionate, structured approach supports families facing difficulties such as anxiety, ADHD, school refusal, and disruptive behavior, helping them restore balance and connection at home and in school settings. Carrie’s clinical focus includes treating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, and childhood behavioral issues. She uses evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parenting skills training, and faith-integrated counseling to support emotional growth and positive family dynamics. Whether a child is struggling with overwhelming fears, difficulty concentrating, or patterns of school avoidance, Carrie works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to implement strategies that foster progress and healing. A key passion in Carrie’s practice is working with children in adoption and foster care settings. She understands the unique emotional needs these children may face and creates a nurturing, consistent therapeutic environment where trust can grow. Her work also emphasizes building self-esteem, enhancing emotional regulation, and guiding families through parenting challenges with compassion and clarity. Outside of her professional role, Carrie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and sons, shopping, playing mahjong, and watching scary movies. She deeply values her faith, which provides a meaningful foundation for both her life and the care she offers to others.
