DeEveria Lacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2014. She obtained her Master’s degree Clinical Psychology from Alabama A&M University, and a Bachelor’s in General Psychology from the University of Phoenix. DeEveria has worked with various populations including homeless, community based, and impatient facility; just to name a few. DeEveria sees children/adolescents, adults, couples, family, and groups. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders, LGBTQ, trauma, grief, and anger management. DeEveria loves therapeutic techniques such as psychodynamic; as one’s cognitive processes stem from childhood experiences and environmental stressors which correlate towards how one thinks in the present. Her words to live by are, “He who angers you; controls you.” DeEveria is here to help and not fix. She believes, together, you can?embark on peeling apart one’s struggles while understanding what and why they co-occur. Outside of work, Dee enjoys her own brand, singing, dancing, traveling, shopping, self-care, writing poetry, playing piano, basketball, swimming, and research.
