Hi, my name is Firas Qureshi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Elmhurst, Illinois. I’m excited that you have initiated the process of looking for a therapist that best meets your needs. If you are dealing with anxiety, depression, or struggling with balancing your emotions – I’m ready to help you create a plan to address these issues in order to feel better. My goal is to get you back to your daily life – experiencing more joy and feeling confident to handle life’s many challenges. Supporting mental health within the Desi culture is something I’m passionate about and hope that if you connect with this culture as well that you can find a connection with me in this therapeutic space.

I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and families. I also enjoy working with couples, so feel free to bring in your partner to work on your relationship issues. Loss is also a difficult thing to process alone – I’m ready to help you manage this and figure out how to best cope. If you are dealing with a life transition like moving out on your own, deciding about your long term career plan, or how to move forward into a new relationship – I’m here to help. I take pride in creating a safe and supportive environment for you to feel comfortable expressing yourself and your unique needs.

I look forward to working collaboratively with you and supporting you through this next season of life. In an effort to model good self-care, I try to spend time exercising, playing video games, reading books, and staying social. Let’s work together to help you add things you might be missing to help make your life feel more full and enjoyable!
