Lisa Mann, PA-C Lisa Mann is a Physician Assistant in Georgia who has been practicing since 2018. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience, received a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Lisa’s approach to patient care is thorough evaluation of the genetic, situational, and medical factors that may be contributing to a patient’s mental health concerns. From there, you discuss a personalized treatment plan that encompasses recent advancements in Psychiatric care. When designing a treatment plan, Lisa takes into consideration a patient’s potential financial concerns and evaluate options for reduced treatment cost. Her goal is to ensure patients understand and are comfortable with their treatment plan, which often include holistic approaches such as lifestyle modifications and supplements. Over time, you work together to understand triggers and patterns, as well as strategies to reduce symptoms in day-to-day life. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cooking and eating. She attempts to create “copycat” recipes of meals she has eaten in various places. Lisa also enjoys making greeting cards by hand and taking long walks with her rescue dog, Waffles.

After a long journey of struggling with my mental health I finally decided to talk with a psychiatrist and figure out what was going on. I am so happy that Lisa was my psychiatrist because I feel like she really took the time to listen to what I was going through and diagnose more correctly. She also provided me with the help I needed and I see a huge difference in myself from where I was before! Honestly it’s like night and day! She always responds quickly if I need anything and I feel like an actual person not just a number how some doctors treat their patients. I would highly suggest going to her if you’ve been contemplating on getting help with your mental health, she will be a great person to have along on your journey!!

I had a great time meeting Lisa. We dove into a lot of my personal history and created a good plan for starting medication and a transition period to adapt. She was very knowledgeable and direct about what to expect while on medication therapy, and approached my care alongside me trying to find the best treatment. We plan on meeting again soon to review how I am doing on my medication, and maybe exploring other potential paths such as counseling in the meantime. Thank you Lisa!

Not only have I and my family found an exceptionally emphatic and kind person but also a very commited and proactive professional. When you combine it all, you get a rockstar clinician. One out of millions. Medicine-related specialties and disciplines should include kindness, ethics, and empathy as a sole, very important class at the schools. Lisa just masters all of that. We are happy to count on her for our wellbeing and health.

I have been able to bond with both my psychiatrist and Therapist here. I avoided the help for a while because I didn’t want new therapy from therapist I didn’t know but the two I’m seeing has been very supportive and helpful in helping me open up to them and I love that they actually listen to me and so far has helped me through a couple of different situations that are difficult.
