Lucas Leslie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2020. He has earned a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lucas helps clients through working together to gently explore current patterns of thinking/acting, how these may have helped in the past, and how to live a life more fully aligned with their values and goals. With him, you will practice: coping with stress, creating new behavioral routines, identifying harmful thought patterns, and increasing emotional awareness. This Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach is Lucas’s primary way of supporting clients; however, he also uses techniques from a variety of other therapeutic approaches. Lucas takes a collaborative approach to therapy. He will work with you to identify what is going well in your life and what you would like to improve upon or change. Outside of work Lucas enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, spending time in nature, trying new types of food, and playing/watching soccer.
