I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. I strive to create a collaborative relationship with my clients. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship begins with understanding my clients as they see themselves and the goals that they have for themselves. This understanding allows for an individual treatment plan to be created which may include medication management, motivational interviewing and brief supportive therapy to address my client’s needs. I believe that the best treatment outcomes are found in a multidisciplinary treatment approach, therefore I often encourage my patients to consider combined treatment with therapists.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I provide medication management for ages 15 and older. My specialty areas include addiction, anger management, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), seasonal affective disorder (SAD), obsessive compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorders.
