Suzanne is especially passionate about caring for individuals navigating complex clinical and life circumstances, including those recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She has focused experience supporting patients involved in court-ordered treatment, workers’ compensation cases, parental custody matters, current legal challenges, and disability paperwork. In these situations, she emphasizes continuity of care, clear documentation, and careful medication management to promote safety, stability, and functional recovery during high-stress transitions. Her clinical specialties include ADHD, depression, and anxiety, with additional experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions. Suzanne’s areas of focus include trauma-related symptoms, sleep disorders, and major life transitions such as midlife and later-life changes. She provides medication management and incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles to support symptom reduction, emotional regulation, and resilience. Suzanne works with children and adolescents, including teens, as well as adults and seniors. She has experience serving select populations such as LGBTQ+ individuals, military members and veterans, and people with autism spectrum disorders, along with others seeking compassionate, structured psychiatric care. Outside of her clinical work, Suzanne enjoys spending time outdoors in Colorado skiing, paddle boarding, and horseback riding. She also loves traveling, exploring architecture, trying new foods, relaxing with reading, knitting, baking, and watching movies.
