About Jennifer Huskinson (She/Her)

Jennifer is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has an extensive nursing career that transitioned into psychiatry in 2018 when she realized her passion for helping individuals with mental health concerns and substance abuse. She has diagnosed, treated and managed all major psychiatric disorders and varieties of mental illness and addiction.

She prefers an integrative approach that not only includes medication management but non-pharmacological methods, such as nutrition, complimentary alternative modalities and therapy. She has additional training and certifications in Nutrition and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health and Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias, as well as treatment of individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders.

Jennifer has experience treating a diverse patient population, from adolescents to geriatric patients. She focuses on the patient as a whole, incorporating active listening and individualized care. Her goals are to help patients work towards a healthy and positive future.
