Jessica Courtney is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing since 2020. She graduated from Colorado State University, Pueblo with Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatry. When you meet with Jessica, you’ll meet with a caring provider who has an innate ability to help you feel at ease while overcoming fears regarding life changes and mental health concerns. She’ll welcome you into a collaborative atmosphere, where she’ll help you understand what is going on inside your body and how exactly the medication she may prescribe will affect it. She’ll help you discover your fullest potential, which is already inside of you, and empower you to live an authentic and fulfilling life. Jessica specializes in treating trauma throughout the lifespan.

With 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, Jessica has experience in intensive care, surgery, and hospice. Her career in the psychiatric field began in 2015 in drug and alcohol treatment centers. She then worked for two years on an acute inpatient pediatric behavioral health unit, where she found her passion in pediatric psychiatry.

Jessica loves the outdoors, rock climbing, and hiking with her dog, Sophie. She has two beautiful, empowered adult children. She also enjoys volunteering as a boxing and art instructor at a local non-profit which provides a supportive, sober community for adults suffering from substance use disorder.
