The program encourages self-growth and character development through a partnership built with equine therapy. There is a veterans program, Operation Hope, that promotes healing and builds confidence for those individuals who have served our country. From an academic standpoint, Tammy graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and started her career as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004. After working in Family Medicine for 13 years, she went to work in an outpatient mental health clinic treating adults struggling with mental health issues, addiction, incarcerated individuals, and military veterans. She graduated from Washburn University’s Post Master’s Program in 2019 and became Board-Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
