Margaret Ann Beymer, MSN, PMHNP-BC,
About Margaret Ann Beymer (She/Her)
Margaret Beymer is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Indiana.
Are you saying to yourself, “I feel stuck?” Do you wake up thinking, “What’s the point?” Have you wondered why no one seems to notice or care? Margaret cares. Since 2012, Margaret has been working in the medical field and has heard these concerns repeatedly. Having grown up in a family with five children, she also knows personally what it’s like to feel overlooked, lost, or trapped. This collective experience has fueled her persistence in getting to the root of an issue. Margaret helps her clients work through layers of challenges to achieve a better quality of life.
Through Margaret’s professional experience, she has learned that when the relationship with yourself is strained, many other relationships can suffer as well. She understands how painful it can be to sit with difficult emotions or internalize others’ expectations. Margaret works collaboratively with her patients to explore thought patterns, build resilience, and, when appropriate, consider how medication can be a helpful tool in treatment. Additionally, drawing from her athletic background, she studies the impact of nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness on mental health. Her goal is to examine all factors influencing a patient’s well-being and mood.
Margaret provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for a variety of mental health conditions. She is also trained in Spravato® (esketamine) treatment, an innovative option for adults experiencing treatment-resistant depression or depressive symptoms that have not adequately improved with traditional approaches. Margaret is committed to creating individualized treatment plans and helping patients access evidence-based therapies that support long-term mental wellness and improved quality of life.
Margaret was born and raised in Indiana. She grew up in a farming community, graduated from Ball State University, and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from Purdue University. She welcomes any and all Hoosiers so make an appointment now to start your healing journey. Margaret also has intermittent Saturday openings for new patients.
