Rae Zhou is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2022. Rae Zhou is a godsend. They are incredibly intelligent, validating and knowledgeable. I met Rae by chance after going through many psychopharmacologists and feeling defeated. Then Rae came along and has truly changed my life. They are kind, sincere and caring. I've never met a doctor or NP who cares so deeply about their work and clients. I get excited to work with Rae as they are so clever, and comes up with ways to help or find the right combination of meds. When I first started working with Rae, I was in a bad place and if I called, even on the weekend, she would call right back and guide me. One time they spent time on the phone with me during a severe panic attack. I can never thank Rae enough. After two decades of struggle, bipolar 2, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, GAD and social anxiety, I never felt as sure that I will recover. Rae is amazing. Rae’s approach and ethos are grounded in empathy, validation and tangible coping strategies. They truly lead with curiosity and provide sound and realistic options. Rae cares deeply and they immediately put you at ease. I feel so incredibly fortunate to work with Rae as they have not only helped me begin to normalize my grief but also contextualizes my experience to help identify barriers to truly begin to heal. I am so thankful to Rae as they are truly such a significant part of my healing journey.
